Title
Abstract In the advance programs, generally, besides the main character refinement, it is also sought to keep or enhance the expression of other characters simultaneously. In soybean is primordial the cultivar development with high grains productivity and cyst nematode resistance. The literature data relate a negative correlation between the productivity and the resistance to the NCS, due to the genetic linkage of QTLs of resistance and QTLs, which contribute to a productive reduction, in the G linkage group of soybean. This search had as objective to study the relation between the effect of the main locos already mapped/validated of soybean resistance to NCS and the soybean productivity. It was used a recombinant endogamous lineage population obtained by the crossing between Hartwig (resistant genitor) x Y23 (susceptible genitor) in three field trails. The varieties were tested to analyze the race resistance 1, 3, 9 and 14 and their relation to the agronomic characters. Through the correlation analysis, between the races and the agronomic characteristics, was observed that there is a positive relation between productivity and the resistance to the NCS race 14. In the QTLs analysis was identified a QTL which increase the soybean productivity in G linkage group, next to the rhg1 gene, proceeding from the Hartwig resistance source. This result shows a positive direct association between the resistance to NCS and the productivity in the studied population. The identified markers as significant to each analyzed characteristic must pass by a validation process in other population for that in the future they can be used in Marker Assisted Selection in advance programs.
